* wierd out : 심기를 불편하게 하다, 정신나가게 하다, 힘들게 하다

 

 

JULES: If you ask me, I think that you'd be much better off working in creative or marketing.

제 생각에는, 크리에이티브 팀이나 마케팅팀이 더 잘 어울릴 거예요.

 

* If you ask me : 내 개인적인 생각으로는

* be better off : 형편이 더 나은, 마음이나 처지가 더 좋은

 

 

JASON: But it was, like, a nice e-mail. It was a long one, well-thought-out.

이메일을 아주 좋게 써서 보냈어요. 아주 길게, 진지하게 썼어요.

 

* well-thought-out : 면밀한, 심사숙고된, 신중한, 충분히 추론된, 세심히 계획한

 

 

BEN: Can’t imagine it would hurt.

손해볼 것 없지.

 

* Can’t imagine it would hurt : 밑져야 본전이지, 손해볼 것 없지, 당연히 낫지 (= nothing to lose)

 

 

 

JULES: I noticed my intern sure keeps busy.

내 인턴이 꽤 바쁜것 같네.

CAMERON: Mr. Congeniality. He's a very big hit.

친화 왕, 인기짱 이에요.

 

* notice : 알아차리다

* congeniality : 친화성, 적응성 (Mr. Congeniality 라고 하면 우정상 정도의 느낌)

 

 

CAMERON: Our investors just think that a seasoned CEO could take some things off your plate.

투자자들은 경험 풍부한 CEO가 사장님한테서 부담을 덜 수 있을 거라 생각해요

 

* seasoned : 경험 많은, 노련한

* take some things off your plate: 일을 덜다 (↔have a lot on one's plate 일이 많다)

 

 

 

 

 

FIONA: Love that there's another oldie but goodie here.

비슷한 연배가 있으니 좋네요.

 

* oldie but goodie : 오래됐지만 좋은 것(사람) / 옛날을 생각나게 하는 것(사람)

 

* masseuse 여자마사지사 / masseur 남자마사지사

 

 

MIKE: Jules...Sorry to do this, but I’m actually not feeling so hot -- not sure I should be driving. Wouldn’t want to give you anything.
